Disneyland!!

Mike and I went to Disneyland with my mom, my bro Josh, my cousin Wesley and my grandparents. Might have been the best time I have ever had at Disneyland....Definitely was. Josh was soooooo excited because he had never been before.
This was my favorite picture of the day. When I think of Disney characters I never think about Mary Poppins but she is my hero. Even Mike was excited for this one. These are characters that really immortalize our childhood.

She was really cool.

First ride of the day. We went on Indiana Jones. Josh said it was lame but I'm not convinced because he made us go on it again later in the day.

They had the COOLEST show in Tomorrowland. It was a Star Wars show where they let 25 kids come up on stage and gave them Jedi robes and lightsabers. They were practicing their saber skills with their Jedi Master when Darth Vader and Darth Maul appeared in a cloud of smoke from under the stage. Each kid got to go up against one of the bad guys and pretend to fight them off. It was so fun to watch.
Mike bought a signature book and insisted on spending half the day getting autographs. We waited an hour in line for the princesses. He lost the book somewhere on the Indiana Jones ride. At least we still have the pictures.

I don't know who this guy is.
Or this one.
Tigger
Winnie the Pooh

Mulan

Squire?

Cinderella

Aurora

Mickey Mouse

Wesley has always wanted to sit in the driver's seat of the Indiana Jones ride.

In the Star Wars shop there is an area where you can build your own lightsaber. My brothers and Wesley spent like an hour playing with all the different pieces and making their weapons just right. I wanted to get the lightsaber with the Mickey Mouse button but what am I going to do with a lightsaber?

Fireworks!!

I love the fireworks.
The last ride of the night. We went on the new Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster ride. It was awesome! Toy Story is one of my favorite movies so this was a perfect way to the end the day.

Second Leg of My Journey

Mike and I left for St Geezie on Sunday afternoon. It took us two hours to get him checked out for his leave(vacation). When we stopped for gas we couldn't decide what to get for drinks. Some crazy guy came up to us and told us to we should get bottles of cranberry juice and grapefruit juice and mix them together just like the Sobe drink. Then we saw them. Kool Aid Squeeze Its!!! our choice was clear.
Mike made me takes pictures of the sunset as we were driving. Pictures don't do it justice. I took some pictures of a rainbow but I can't find them. So some friend of my mom's gave us her trampoline. We were going to take it all apart but Mike was having none of that. He removed the legs and had us carry it down the street. You have no idea how impossible it is to get these people to take a family picture. I completely gave up on my dreams of getting them to put on something nice. I had one chance to take this picture and luckily my camera takes two auto shots with ten seconds in between because I noticed after the first one that Josh was wearing sunglasses. After the second flash they were all up and gone faster than the flash itself.
The last meal. We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast on our last day in St George. If you will notice Mike, Jacob and I were all busy on our iPods. Touchscreen all the way baby. Now it's back to grandma's house for the third leg of my journey.

First Leg of my Journey

It all started when I met Mike at his barracks at camp Pendleton. We had some chili fries and a shake on the pier and then I continued to my grandma's house in Escondido.

The cousins came for the weekend too and we had fun with them.
This is Mike with my cousin Wesley. Arm wrestling with Mike...what's the point?

Okay Wesley, this time he'll just use one finger. Wesley almost had him this time. Not.

That cute girl sitting next to Mike is our cousin Alexus. We played Scrabble as is tradition at grandma's house. I don't remember who won.

I usually end up getting bored about half way through the game so I have my grandma start making words for me. She is really good at this game.

S p a c e

Michelle and I rearrange her room and did some major cleaning. It feels so much bigger now and we have floor space. Still need to get everything in it's place but it is still an improvement. Super great!! The change was very difficult for Sandi at first. She needed some time to grieve. But now she's caught on to the spirit and she's cleaning out all over the house.

Progress

So on Tuesday I gave blood for the third time in my life. The first time I passed out. The second time I threw up in the chair. And on Tuesday I drove myself home. YEAH!!!

Greg and Parker came over on Thursday. We had parfaits and played Rock Band. Parker tried to share the Wii drum set with Greg but he was cruisin' for a bruisin' because Greg has mad skills. So we pulled out the Playstation drums and let Parker play along with his daddy. Rock on guys!!

Idaho in June

You know, I would explain more of these pictures if I had any idea what was going on, but I don't always get an explanation with these. The first one is a picture of a painting that my little Lotts(the kids I watch) and I made for Jeff. But the pink car I have no explanation for.

My aunt Stacey and I always used to think that the term Halo widow was funny because we both like video games more than our men do and so in our cases it would probably never be an issue. Jeff has found his new love though and he is now very much a golfer. I would have much more prefered video games to this. I guess it will be golf widow. Is that even a term?

Again, I'm speechless.

Cool armor, a guy in his area makes medieval clothing for a living.
Also just a reminder, Jeff's birthday is in two weeks and he will be 22. Please send him a card or a letter to wish him happy birthday. That would just make him feel really special. Thanks!
